Cat vs Dragon 1999 31" diameter SOLD I was born in a year of the dragon, and cats are my very favorite animal, so when I saw this batik panel, I knew I had to use it somehow in a quilt. This quilt is pieced from just two fabrics, one a hand batiked panel from Bali, the other a beautiful piece of hand dyed cotton by Judy Robertson. Both pieces were almost "too good" to cut up, but the sum of the parts is greater still. Machine pieced and free-motion machine quilted with rayon and metallic threads.
