In this scene, a detached symbolic head is adrift in a dark sea with fish and exotic plant life. Machine reverse applique, machine quilted, hand beaded. Fabrics include commercial cotton prints, cotton pique, silk, and metallic knit. Beads are glass and there are gold paillettes on the fish.
